In an Instagram post, Conductor Williams stated “Working with Drake allows me to be a bit more musical, and hunt for melodies that call and respond to each other. I am so thankful that we linked. The musical connection is natural.”

This song, like the rest of the six new tracks on For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition, places a heavy emphasis on Drake’s lyrical craftsmanship. In the announcement video for Scary Hours 3, Drake stated that all of the songs made for Scary Hours 3 (which ended up being a deluxe of Drake’s recent release, For All The Dogs,) were written 5 days before the release of For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition:
