“Mama Told Me” — the third track on Quavo’s sophomore studio album, Rocket Power — sees Quavo speaking of his late mother Edna Marshall, and how she advised him and Takeoff to be smart. It’s subject matter is reminiscent of Migos’s 2017 hit single, “T-Shirt”. In it’s chorus, Quavo raps:

On August 17, 2023, hours prior to this track’s release, Quavo revealed that it would release alongisde the rest of Rocket Power via the official tracklist posted to across his social platforms including Twitter & Instagram.
