French Montana Ft Nas & Kanye West – Figure It Out Lyrics

From his new mixtape, Wave Gods, which debuted on DJ Khaled’s Apple Music radio show. French Montana goes the sentimental route on this track with the help of auto-tuned Kanye West on the hook. Nas also features on this song with some contemplative lines.

Montana uses his verse to reflect on the death of his friend Chinx Drugz and the incarceration of rapper Max B, who Kanye has recently spoken to. This is not the first collaboration between French Montana and Kanye West, the two collaborated with many others to create West’s track, “All Day”.

The cover depicts a book that is half Quran and half Bible, pointing to both the contemplative nature of the song as well as the mixed religious beliefs of those on it, with French being Muslim, Kanye being Christian, and Nas constantly mixing both together in his spirtuality.

This is the fourth edition to Kanye’s G.O.O.D Fridays series. This installment varies from the other because Kanye is only a feature on this song, rather than owning the song or performing it alone. This song was announced via Twitter.
