Song was first previewed on February 26th 2023 on David’s TikTok (@d4vdd) then later previewed on twitter (@d4vddd) with the title “Worthless Finale” The song was released March 9th 2023. The creation of ‘Worthless’ was inspired by the character Rue Bennett from the hit show Euphoria. Inspired by the fact that she is struggling to find her place in the world, which is similar to David’s experience.

Itami’s appearance was also seen in the music video as someone appearing to haunt David while he was at the party/rave.
The video ends with Itami turning into David’s therapist, which portrays how he feels and deals with his problems.
David was at a therapy group in the music video which is referring to the song being a therapeutic song as seen previously.
