“Retail Therapy” is the second single and fifth track to Shepherds Bush, West London rapper Central Cee’s sophomore mixtape 23 following the viral hit single, September 2021’s “Obsessed With You”. The track was announced alongside with the tape’s announcement on November 25th.

The song was teased as a snippet was used as the backdrop as Cench teamed up with sneaker company Kick Game for a Christmas giveaway to underprivileged kids in London.

Cench highlights his braggadocious character as he speaks on his materialistic nature, the love for women and how his drug dealing past created a successful money-making segue into his life as a rapper.

The song samples “Wildflower”, a single from 1973 by saxophonist Hank Crawford, which samples elements from the 1972 song “Wildflower” by Skylark. It has previously been sampled by artists such as 2Pac and Eminem.
