‘just like me’ sees 21 Savage reunite with Nigerian afrobeats singer Burna Boy, after the two collaborated on the remix to Burna’s summer 2023 single ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’.

The two detail their relationships with a girl that went from being honest and innocent, to practising in the evil of the two artists. Metro Boomin, alongside BoogzDaBeast and FNZ, handle production, seeing 21 and Burna glide over an afrobeats-influenced trap beat.

With the theme of the album being around 21’s move to the USA and visa issues, Burna Boy interestingly faced similar issues. He moved to the UK aged 18, but was then banned from entering the country for 7 years after being jailed. He was eventually allowed to return, and has since performed sold-out shows in the country and collaborated with several British artists
